Help with buying tickets

With less than two weeks to go until The Accidental Festival lands at the BAC, the pace is certainly picking up. You may have noticed that our website has had a few tweaks and additions as well, including the much anticipated Accidental TV. One thing that we cannot do through our website, unfortunately, is sell tickets direct to our followers. (The money would simply fall through our clumsy student fingers). However, you can buy them through the BAC Box Office.

As one of the most innovative theatres in London, it seems that they are taking new, daring steps in ticket-buying culture, which at first may seem very strange and irregular. So we here at Accidental Towers wanted to give you a fail-safe way to enjoy buying your tickets, without getting lost along the way:

1 ) Go to the Accidental Page at the BAC. It looks like this:

2 ) Click on ‘Book Tickets’

3 ) It will then give you a choice of which day you would like to book for. Don’t worry if you want a weekend, or a supporter ticket, you get that choice in a minute. For now just click any of the days where it says ‘Buy Tickets’.

4) You then get to a page that looks like this:

Now this may seem counter-intuitive; but you have to select 1 £50 ticket, where it says ‘Select number of Tickets’. Confusing, I know, but you have the option to change your booking soon, at which point you are given a full list of the tickets still available, like this:

5 ) You will see that the £50 supporter ticket is still selected and that is fine if you wish to become a friend of the festival. If you just want to buy a day or weekend ticket then unselect the supporter price and select whichever ticket you so wish.

6 ) After pressing ‘Continue’ you can review what you have ordered, and double check that you have selected the right ticket(s). The BAC also reserve the tickets you have ordered, so that they don’t sell out in the time it takes for you to make the payment. If you are happy with your order, click ‘Continue’

7 ) Once again, you are given a review of what you are about to purchase. Still, it’s nice that they have changed the format slightly. Click ‘continue’ if you are still happy.

8 ) The final step is to fill in all the details on the form. You need not worry about the tickets being lost in the post as you can collect them when you arrive at the festival.

9 ) You have successfully completed your ticket-shopping journey! Now you can get excited about all that’s in store!

Let us know how you felt about the ticket buying format. Did you find it confusing? Would you like to buy tickets through www.accidentalfestival.com? By leaving a comment below, you will help us make next year’s festival even better. Written by James
