Live Feed (Final Note Project Serendipity) Sunday 30th 09:30 pm
Explosive! Mesmerising! I was strangely soothed by the bombardment of noise and light of Project Serendipity after every collective experience the festival had given me. It was like indoor fireworks.
Watch a short snipped of a cracking gig on youtube.

Dead Feed (Sorry for the delay)
Since 4:00pm on Sunday 30th of the BAC I have been able to add a post. A combination of low wi-fi and ushering duties kept me away from being able to post. But I was able to see a lot, and where I could I grabbed a bit media for you to get your teeth… [click the title to continue reading]
Live Feed (A Choreography of Opening and Closing) 19:45
I was walking in through the front steps, after getting some fresh air and the usual hub-bub and business of the foyer had been stilled. A silent gathering had accumulated around the main steps from which a chorus of silent people descended. All wearing black they slowly moved down the staircase until they filled the… [click the title to continue reading]
Live Feed (Circuit) 15:17
Could we be more ‘Accidental’? I just had a great, festive encounter watching the new performance model ‘Circuit’. Here’s the deal: Three practitioners who are fed up with being labeled ‘writer’, ‘director’ or ‘actor’ create a framework where each of them have the opportunity to work in each role, as well as dabbling in technical… [click the title to continue reading]
Live Feed (Chat with Letty) 12:53
I catch up with Letty just before we open the doors to the final day of AF2010.
Two Down…
Goodness me! Well, 48 hours in and the festival is in it’s third wind. Yesterday proved to be a different experience for lots of different people. The audiences of Mr. Mistress’ Wardrobe Malfunction had a real eye-full of hilarity and scorching burlesque, whilst other audiences had an opportunity to see several different shows exploring various… [click the title to continue reading]
Live Feed (Poeticat) 19:15
Fresh from the bar at the BAC, Poeticat have just finished an amazing set. Folk/spoken word/lo-fi musings that were chilled yet uplifting. The atmosphere is now set for the night and their meaningful music has recharged the festival goers, ready for a packed evening. It also encouraged a lot of people to the bar, which… [click the title to continue reading]
Live Feed (Janet and Ivy) 19:01
I just had the pleasure of seeing a sweet and sour performance called ‘Janet and Ivy’. Two sisters sit in a bath-tub with ripped sheets of newspaper littering the space. Enhanced by the fricative, scratchy sounds of an old, wind-up record player; they are trapped in a love/hate relationship expressed through scissors and clothes-pegs. A… [click the title to continue reading]
Live Feed (Indigo Williams)18:07
Just caught the powerful spoken words of Indigo Williams in the bar at the BAC. A very stirring experience as she poeticised about her identity and all of our responsibilities in this world. Absolute food for thought!
Live Feed (Strings)16:30
A beautiful installation where you can interact with a meadow of embroidered flowers. The audiences are playfully touching this tapestry and you can see their faces light up as their touch creates subtle changes in the haunting soundscape.
