The History of The Accidental Festival

The Accidental Festival was founded in 2006, and opened in June at The ICA, London. The festival was a huge success, and included work and mentoring from acclaimed artists such as Blind Summit, who recently worked on Anthony Minghella’s production of Madame Butterfly for the ENO, and Punchdrunk who are currently enjoying great success with their production of Faust.

In 2007, the festival returned, bigger and better, with a larger team, more artists a new venue and a full education programme. Why not browse the 2007 site?

Long live the Accidental Festival!
