Collective 2: Collaboration
Wed 21st - Sat 24th Ma: 12:00pm
Ends 7:30pm | Digital Studio
Nine individuals met, talked, shared. Experimented. Collaborated.
These are the results of six nights and one day, two locations.
'Collaboration' is work produced by artist collective: Photographic Artist Manuel Vason with Ruby Baker, Jo Cecil, Simon Donger Anisha Fields, Lianne Howard-Dace, Dan Marsden, Phil Nottingham, Claire Smith, & Madeleine Trigg.
Manuel Vason photographs performance for the camera. His interests are in the possibilities for expression that lie within the human body. The eight collaborators who participated in this experiment are all final year students on the Performance Arts course at the Central School of Speech and Drama. They all have divergent career aims and interests, including physical theatre, outdoor performance, dance, installation art, film, design, as well as performance and photography.
This is an exciting chance to view the work of an established and innovative artist, alongside 3rd year students at Central School of Speech and Drama, who had the amazing opportunity to collaborate with Manuel Vason on this project.
This event will be shown as part of Photography Exhibit: The Moment of Performance.
